In 2016 gold made a huge move at the start of the year and many gold stocks experienced 100-300% gains and in some cases even more than that over a period of 5-7 months. In this video I compare the current technical picture of gold and gold stocks to what happened back then. I discuss what I’d like to see from a Stage Analysis perspective to confirm the breakout in gold and gold stocks. Essentially what we’re looking for is a big increase in volume as gold and gold stocks break above resistance and this should occur across many stocks in the space.
